UK tarmac racer
« on: March 10, 2010, 12:02:23 AM »
Hi all
I'm in the UK and have been speed hill climbing a KX500 for several years, even won the british championship in 1999, but have taken a few years off lately. Just about to make a comeback and I'm in the middle of putting my 92 500 engine into a kxf chassis. Need the handling to keep up with the sxv's cr's and KTM's.

Check out our website, http://www.nhca.co.uk/   .

Welcome Jamie,
Very cool web site and setup, Every thing someone would need to know to "Give It A Go".
I'm sure there are plenty of guys who would love to pick your brain on what works and what hasn't for you. We have a large part of the group recreational riding and an avid group of racing members from Hillclimb, Sumo, MX,Dirt and sand drags,  and "who can make it to the top of the biggest dune the fastest".
It may not be the largest web site around, however the guys who do spend alot of money and time putting their bikes together have been more than gracious sharing their findings.  Please feel free to jump in.
There is always a bit of tenacity when someone is serious about what they do, and for the most part it has been the most civil place to hang out. I never would have been able to learn this much on my own.
