Banana seat
« on: January 11, 2010, 08:04:32 AM »
So what do yo guys think?  It may not look cool but it's functional.  At least I can put my feet down without a wobble.

Serafin that looks well done.  I'm  5'8 240 47yo.   I wish I was in as good a shape a Serafin!!
It seems every three years I have to have some part of MY suspension repaired :-o.
I have been seriously considering the shaved seat.   I was thinking  tall seat foam with the cut out.
stand up to kick, then scootch back and up a tad and almost be standing on the pegs!

I'll be taking the bike out on friday for a quick ride.  I'll let everyone know how the banana seat feels.

I did pretty much the same to mine.  I also put a lowering link on the rear suspension and lowered the triple clamp as far as possible.  Worked great for me.

Not bad.  Reminds me of a trials bike.
