Pro Circuit rear suspension links
« on: October 10, 2008, 03:58:59 AM »
Hi everyone, I found a slightly used set of Pro Circuit suspension links and am wondering if any members have this mod?
A few questions.  1.  Are they longer or shorter than stock?  2.  Does it raise or lower the seat height?  3.  Does it improve the suspension at all or is it just for BLING item?

Thanks

Serafin

Pretty sure they are supposed to be a lot stronger than the stock dog bones.  Nothing else to them though.

Don't have a picture Motorad a buddy of mine was at a salvage yard and saw a 500 with a broken fame but said the suspension was still intact and had Pro Circuit links on it.  The links have the name engraved on them.  Platypus thats sort of what I was thinking just a stronger part and Bling factor.  I have never seen or heard of the links breaking.

I have some but as yet not fitted them on either KX, will measure the centres when I get home tommorrow.

One of you lot will have to measure the centres on a standard one to find out if it different.
Pretty sure they are claimed to change the handling and quicken the steering so I assume that make the rear sit higher.

Scott.

Demographic without taking the suspension apart.  I measured from bolt center to bolt center and came up with aprox 5 3/8 inches.

They are to help the bike corner better by raising the rear of the bike and putting more wieght on the front wheel also it changes the fork angle. I made set for my K5 an d helped the cornering a lot.

Just measured both of my Pro Circuit ones and one was 132.62 mm long and the other was 132.60mm long, call it an average of 132.61mm

I doubt two hundredths of a milimeter makes any difference.

Not measured my standard Kawasaki ones yet though as they are still on the bikes.
