questions about kx 250 engine 05-07

Hello!
I have a brand new kx 250 05-07 engine and I want to know if the electrical Harness ( coil,cdi) from the 2004 engine will fit?
Will a kicker from a 2004 fit? I see they have different part numbers!
Does anyone have a workshop manual for a 05-07 engine?
I have one in pdf for a 03-05 engine.If anyone want it, I will try to upload it.

I'm in the start of a new project: to fit this engine in a 86 kxt frame

For once I might be able to help someone on here.... I have a 2003 250 and I swapped a 05  engine in there using all the same electronics so you should be technically fine. Also the kick starter fits but it does touch the frame just a little when its folded in.

Are we sure we speak for the same engine?
03-05kx engines are the same and 05-07 are different. Even the mount of the exhaust Pipe is different.
So the 05 engine you used was the same as the 03-05 or with the 05-07?Did you use the same exhaust Pipe?
CDI for the 03-05 have part number:21119-0007 and for the 05-07 is 21119-0027!
If indeed you run a 05-07 engine with the electronics of the 2003 this is really good news for me and my pocket...

Its a 2003 Kx250 frame and electronics with a 2005 kx250 engine swapped in it... yes I did have to use a 2005 pipe becuase its slips over the exhaust port unlike the 04 and older bikes which slipped into the port and also the front engine mounts and head stay had to be refabricated for the engine to fit.

but for the original question yes the electronics work and I did notice the diff part numbers but as far as I could tell the only diff between the two was one of the plugs had a longer pigtail to reach farther on the engine and that was it....and about the engine you need to cut off the front engine mounts and fab new ones and either modifiy your stock head stays or make completly new ones like I did and of course the 05-07 pipe.

Technically I experienced a huge drop in power..but thats becuase my last engine was bored, ported, and had all the bolt ons but stock for stock this engine has alot more meat midrange and up top and its a whole lot smoother everywhere.

Is the stator from a 2004 engine the same with the 05-07 engine? Will it fit in the engine?
