I need a set of engine center cases for my k5
« on: September 17, 2003, 07:16:37 PM »
Hey guys, I had a time insert installed a few years ago in my 95' kx 500 to fix a stripped drain plug. The guy must have drilled it too big, and when I went to change my tranny oil, the case split open were the drain plug was. I need a set of engine cases.....in good shape. Can anybody help me? Thanks!!      Rob

Hey I am about to part out my 91 kx500...everything is here except the rear wheel and cylinder.  Case is in great shape.  Let me know and we can work out a deal...

Have you taken them to a good fab/welding shop? I'd think that with a good piece of sized, drilled & threaded plate you could make your cases better than new. This is an inherent problem with these things!
