OK, here's one of those can't believe it's true stories. Feb 28th my boss Ann who likes to go to the casino's, told me I should come up to Remington Park horse race track and casino and enter the drawing for the 07' Ford Escape give away. All I had to do was come up, fill out some paper work to get a players card and enter the drawing. I got there 1 hour early and so many people were getting cards and entering the drawing that I didn't get to enter before they closed the hopper. They give away a car or truck at the end of each month. The first name called won the Escape.
The rules
#1... You have to have a Remington Park players card.
#2...YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN !!! This I learned cuts out half of the entrants, they forget the time and date of the drawing
#3... You can enter once a day. You hand them your card to get swiped and that gives you 3 tickets to put into the hopper.
In March I entered 4 times, that gave me 12 tickets in the hopper. March they were giving away a 07' Mustang GT. The night of the drawing the first name they called went unanswered. You have 2 minutes to claim your prize. The second name called the person screamed out "That's me" and they won the Mustang.
Now we're into April and it's an 07' Ford Explorer Sport Trac with a sticker price of $32,110. Most of the members on KXRiders know my K5 chewed on me real bad back on Dec 11 04'. My knee injury will follow me the rest of my life. Now the weather is warmer so I came up with the bright idea of riding my KLR 650 to the casino every day to enter the vehicle give away. I park way out in the lot and walk down a small set of stairs, a good distance into the casino and then I take the long set of stairs instead of using the escalators to enter the casino. I started doing this mostly to work on my knee and it has helped allot. I went every day but 2 ( fell asleep and woke up after they had closed ). March 29th was the night of the drawing. They wanted to do the drawing between the 5th and 6th horse race. This means the drawing will be at 8:15 instead of the usual time of 9 PM. This was posted throughout the casino. The first 4 names they called out went unanswered and the 5th name they called was mine.

At 3 entrees a day ( 1 and a half miles from my house.) I had 81 tickets in the hopper. I could not believe it! I have never won anything in my life! This month the give away is a sweet, Yellow drop top Mustang GT. You can bet your rear I will be there every day to enter. Everyone tells me I won't win a second time. They are the same people that said I wouldn't win the truck that I ultimately won. Stranger things have happened.
The Sport Trac is loaded, V8 ( 298 H.P.) , 6 speed auto, leather, electric back window, heated front window, 6 months Sirius satellite radio, tow package, key pad entry, machined wheels, heated seats, and much much more.
Now I have a truck to sell.
