Hare and Hound on the KX500

Being new to the site.  And my question on suspension is subjective.  Searched around a bit.  But am looking for current advice on where to send my forks and shock from my 02 KX500 for revalving, springs.
Recently I did another Hare and Hound with the 500.  I think the bike rode me more than I rode the bike.  But I managed to stay on it for the 72 miles.   And only stalled it once.   Think a lot of people were reminded of the pain a 500 inflicts when it throws rocks and dirt in the washes and road sections.   
I weigh 162 with all my gear on.   Clickers are in the mid range.  8-10 on the rear and around 8 in the front.   I know most 500 riders are a little heavier than myself.    Just want a reputable co to send my suspension to that will get me in the ballpark and make the 500 a little more livable.    Really makes me want to get the KX450 hybrid going in my garage a lot sooner!!!!
Be nice to have the rear track straight and work with me through the whoops and kickers.   Both my 450 and KX250 are decent for me with stock springs, etc.

Sounds like you did the Jackrabbits Hare n Hound  if so I was there with my 500

Yeah I did.   The first race I did on the KDX200.   Spark arrestor clogged up on lap two and was low on coolant.   Durable bike though.  Its all running good again.
500 ran perfect.  Just beat the s**t out of me.   Used to skimming whoops and being able to throttle a bike around.  Little bit of adjustment when on the 500.  Took most of the first lap to get used to the throttle.
Passed two 500 in the race.  Not sure where I finished yet.
Was going to do the Jackrabbits race on my KX450f.  06.   But with 8 hours on it has a wristpin noise.  Either going to put a Wiseco or 07 piston in, or sell the engine and look for a 2000 up KX500 for the motor and parts to make my own hybrid.  And use the rest of the 500 for a sand dragger or hill climber with a street bike engine.

Racetech Suspension has a great calculator for it. I learned about it on here doing the same research for myself. Also look at the thread about Race Sag and Static Sag by Paul. Looks like your rear shock spring, is also a bit strong, if you are running a stock spring. Racetech is reputable. I am sure Paul is/was also.

at one time procircuit was setting up team green kx 500's for hare and hound.  there are some other companies (i think its esp??) that also has good setup i have heard.  i am getting ready to send mine off to.

For hare n hound may also want a stabilizer, boyseen shock out grip, and a hydraulic clutch to help with arm pump and less fatique.
