I've been running that tire for a while now, great traction all around, and refuses to wear out !! never had a tire last this long on my thumper killer. Although installing one is enough to bend tire spoons and bust knuckles. Super stiff carcass.
I've heard alot of negative responses with the matching front, but I ran a fresh one at Unadilla GNCC and it turned out to be a good choice.

I have heard all the negative stuff about these. I am running the matching front and thought that tires was piss poor until I got my front end set up right and now I have no issue with the front end. They are hard to wear out. I'll get a new IT or take kxcamm22 advise and try a millville from kenda. I wanted that teraflex 150/90/18 until I heard some things I don't want to deal with. Check out the others post about teraflex tires.

The kenda millvile is the ultimate boulder thrower and hooks up like velcro, but instead of wearing out the knobs they just chunk off right at the base. you go from a great tire to a useless tire in no time. I'll run another one if I'm only planning on doing a few motos.

Where I ride even the Maxxis tire get cuts and chips of the knobbies ripped off. I might try that new Maxxis IT Desert tire. They say it is extra tough.
