Governor shaft
« on: September 30, 2019, 12:21:54 AM »
Hello, my brother in law gave me a KX 500, 2002. It does not have the clutch cover or anything in it. I can buy everything I need except the governor shaft. I can’t find one anywhere, no online shops or eBay. I can find some out of a kx250. My question is, will the 250 shafts work? Thanks.

Nope, the 250 are different.
89-04 are the same.. 49114-1065
Most guys sell them in the clutch cover as they can be a little hard to remove at times.
Hopefully someone has one for you.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
