Just found the cutouts post about reeds 10 min after buying the v-force 3
Do they work at all or would stock be better??
I get the issue but I did not see any mention of how the 500 runs with them?

In your opinion does the VF-2 make $170 difference over stock cage with spacer?

It definitely makes some difference, The more you mod your engine the more you need them.

dyno'd them all. VF2, VF3, spacer, no spacer. didn't make more than 1hp difference on my build
get some spare petals if you use your bike lots. mine tended to eat through the top middle petal after roughly a barrel of fuel went thru it.
