The switch to 18" rim...
« on: May 09, 2017, 02:31:49 PM »
Was just going to cut my spokes and install my Hub on an 18 inch rim. Don't really want to drop $100 on a new one when there's tons of perfectly good 18 inch rims floating around out there. I see them all over Craigslist and offer up. Will any modern 450 18" rim do the trick.  Are there lots of different kinds of 18 inch rims I need to look out for?  Or will basically any 18 inch rim from the past 15 or so years work?

Ask alward25...he's good with wheels and fitment. I got one of my wheels from him a few years ago.

I would install new spokes for the 18" rim if it was me. JMO
I think it would be 36 hole 2.15" width, but double check
