Whats a 04 kx100 worth?
« on: February 23, 2016, 10:51:26 AM »
Hey guys. I have a 04 kx100 that I am wondering what is a good price to sell it at. I bought it the fall of 2014 with a blown top end and worn jug. That winter I rebuilt it with a new jug and top end kit. I also replaced the clutch and clutch basket. Once I broke it in I haven't ever raced it or even rode it on a track. I haven't rode it a whole lot. The only place I have to ride are some farm fields, that's part of the reason why I want to sell it, no good place to ride. These 100s are no joke, I was surprised with the power they have! Anyway thanks for the help guys!!

welcome to the site...
if you can, post a couple pics of it...that way we can get a better idea of what you could ask for it...

There she is. I always thought about buying a decal set for it. But I couldn't ever make my mind up on which one to get...

in my area, New England...I'm seeing exceptionally clean '05-'08 100's being listed for $1600-$1900.
Providing yours is real clean, I wouldn't hesitate to ask $1700.
Look on craigslist in your area/state, and see if you can find any listed, and see what the asking price is, and what condition they're in...then try to fall somewhere near that price.

Oh wow, well hey thanks for the help. I love to ride her but a grassy field isn't the best location. Id hate to hit a groundhog hole and flip it end for end haha. I might even end up keeping it im not totally sure yet...

I don't know where you're located, so prices could be a bit different in your area...
how much are you hoping to get?

you should be able get that...ask for $1400, and add "cash talks"...it'll sell.
