I have never had any on my bike.
It is my understanding that they are made in China.
Many people have experienced problems with them.
However, was it due to bad parts or lack of knowledge on how to trouble shoot a electrical issue...
In my experience that could go either way..
My experience with Chinese motorcycle parts in general is mixed.
The quality overall has not been as good as European, US, or Japanese.
However, some of their stuff works ok and is really cheap.
Perhaps others can chime in with their experiences...
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I agree with Sandblaster.  The Chinese can be quite proficient in copying things, but the amount of quality control can vary wildly from factory to factory and even part to part within a factory.  If it was me I would try to find a good used one, or if the budget allows, maybe a new one.
Perhaps I have a dirt bike addiction?

i used the Steahly power jet lighting kit for my 01 kx 250.  My headlight and tail light run off of the coil from the carburetor power jet

I have one in my 87 KX 250....been using it for 6-7 months without any issues...

Only thing is....the wires are about 1 in. shorter than stock in my case....

They connect....but they are a little tight.

dinky,

I had one on my KDX220 (sold) for several years, and never had any issues.
