2015 Finisher pin holder*
« on: July 06, 2015, 06:37:34 AM »
So after scrolling through the Maico thread which I do enjoy so much I remembered my finisher pin holder I just finished on Friday. Don't haze me too much for it being husky, but how can your beat those colors. I started with a Akront front wheel from a 82 Maico I have sitting in the back yard (no motor and a chassis that has some weird brackets welded to it, I think they tried to put a Harbor Freight motor in it so it's junk) Cut out a piece of masonite, Clued some cork board to the face of it followed by some thin felt, added a old tire, wheel lock and tube and viola. Somewhere to keep all them finisher pins that seems to always get lost in a drawer.
This is the third one of these I have done and they turn out pretty cool, First was my KX one that currently holds too many pins and is the reason why I made this and the second was a KTM one for a friends kid.
What do you guys do with all of yours?

Here is a picture of the KTM one me and my wife made. She cuts the felt cause i'm not good at arts and crafts  :-D I glued this one on a little off but it still looks good on the wall. The "Black" is actually the KTM Blue but it's hard to see in this picture. I am not so proud of the first one so no pictures of it will be posted
