is my 2000 kx250 cylinder junk?

I was getting ready to put my engine together and looked at the liner in my cylinder for problems. I found a big chunk missing from one of the transfer port bridges. I sanded it down to smooth out the missing piece and now the bridge is noticibly thinner than the other sides. Is this usable or not? Untouched side :
Damaged side:

Do ports in cylinder line up with sleeve? Looks to me like it Could be bad port matching or a bad port Job. I don't think anything with the engine can reshape the ports like that.

Ports are lined up with the sleeve well. The bike had been seized when i got it and the piston was mangled pretty badly.

I'm no expert but I'm a mechanic for 22 years, personal opinion, it will run but its a pretty thin line to keep the ring pushed back on piston, i think it will wear fast.

It wont be ridden much anyway. I will eventually get another cylinder but if I can get a light trail ride once a week for a few months then im fine.
