I'll look at my stator on my 2000 250kx and compare it to my spool of 18 gage wire. I'll let u know.

 Looks pretty simple its just wound on their How do i tell what sort of wire i need cant find any info on wire gauge for stock stator?

I'm an idiot! You're just wanting to rewire the coils!  Lordy, disregard all the stupid s**t I've posted lol. Those coils are dead simple. I'll measure the gage later for u. Man I'm sorry but that!  That link I posted is useless for simple coil-bobbin windings. For some reason I forgot that a kx only has a simple stator setup. I've been describing three phase generator stators.
