Hiawatha Hill Done
« on: October 14, 2014, 01:07:45 PM »
OK guys so some of u have seen the previous vids from my ridding place Hiawatha.

What I dont show alot of is a hill we have called Hiawatha Hill.  It climbs from 123foot to almost 400 foot.  I cant get up the hill no matter how hard I try I seem to be looking at a KTM and a KXF at the top while stuck not even half way.

My main aim for this trip was to climb the hill and I couldnt believe it when i passed the KTM 300 in the first section then found a tired kxf rider that could have moved a little.

Passing them both then stopping I herd yelling from our Guide ( You can do it dont stop)   I managed to be the only ridder out of 6 that got up the hill but i stopped half way.

I rolled back down as I couldnt leave the group and my mate says have another crack at that u will get it if u have the trail to your self well the video says it all first half has a pause were I stopped second half is me climbing same hill non stop hope u like its my new fav video Im still on cloud nine lol

Awesome...
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Good ride Ben. My ears popped just watching the video.

Rugged looking terrain you have there. My best distance on a tank of fuel with trail gearing is around 38 mi (61km).

How do you manage your fuel supply?

I hope to try another video upload following your recommendations soon.

Been busy here and crappy weather to boot.
Where the Hell is "Easy Street" ?

still looks pretty "green" there!...what's the weather/temperatures there?
I've been getting little bursts of snow every few days, with temps generally in the 40's F....everything's dead and brown with winter rolling in.
Excuse me, ma'am...but you've got extremely nice legs!!!...what time do they open???                                                                                                               https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8tCgN3aryQ

ugh 90!...when it's 90F here, it's usually with a 100% humidity, and you can almost drink the air.

we live on the coast and all thats out their is Antarctica so we always get a nice cool breeze and it does get cooler the higher up we get.  These mountains are a ski resort in winter soon as we get to about 300 feet u can feel to cool air
