replacement fenders
« on: September 22, 2014, 02:04:32 PM »
I bought a K5. If I wanted to buy new fenders all the way around should I hold out and snipe NOS oem off ebay or are the UFO fenders good?

I also would like to stay green(no stickers) and would like to do the kx250 rear fender mod

UFO are just as good as OEM...
I've found the Acerbis to break easily.

I'm not sure about the rads and tank, I've never used aftermarket on either...I do know that IMS and Clarke are good names for tanks...and there's several members that have used/tried various brands of rads off E-bay, and Warp9....the issues are, that some fit like a glove, and others need modifying to fit correctly....maybe these members I know of can steer you in the right direction :-)
