there are a couple welds ion the frame. nothing too horrific. what i like about this frame is whoever owned it prior to the person i got it from or prior to that woo knows, put a nice skid plate and some flared out guards on the frame near the front of the clutch and flywheel cover. .the carbon fiber flywheel cover is far from stock. the case actually had top be modified by somebody who opbviously knew how to weld this alloy. i was messing with the stator plate one day and ,looked over at my other engine and wow. anyway gonna check out the needle on top posiotion this eveniong after work . then im out of town for a couple days on a job. have a great day.

hmmmm....there's a slight chance it could be an ex team green bike, slight...since it has the frame mods, and I see it has the tower welded on the neck for a steering stabilizer.

ya heres another oddity. take a look at the flywheel cover where the shifter is. thats one part i have yet to locate, anywhere. the bolts near the shifter are fastened to a piece that is on no other case ive ever seen. like i said i did a double take  almost a year after buying it. but who knows.  the case saver mounts were gone when i bought it. a lot of chain guards have been wasted by those who dont check their chains tension often enough. or like me cut links out until you know youre going to get it wrapped around your boot any second.

for that reason alone its a good thing i have another case. because if that carbon fiber cover gets hammered to non-repairable status im pretty much forced to trade cases.

Don't toss the case as it can be repaired

oh heck no. by the way i looked through your shop and i have a question for you that you m,ay have some insight into. as we know cases are molded in sets, right. therefor the tolerances are within acceptable limits from one side to the other for reasons that also know. ive built well running crankcases from halves from different molds. so far i have yet to spin a crank bearing, or even have a seal leak for that matter. . so what is your opinion concerning the longevity of a case that has been built from different molded halves? i only ask you because of the right half you have there for sale.
