CR500 exhaust adaptor for KX500af

Righto guys and gals,

I have searched and maybe I didn't look hard enough, but has anyone tried to make a male-male adaptor tube with seals to fit up a cr500 pipe to a KX? I am about to start as I don't want to destroy my KX pipe (as I have plans for it).

Anyone help?

sure.. i´ve seen one here on the site in a thread of a greek member last year...  but forgot the name of the thread... :|

the flange of the cr500 pipe has the same size like the flange in the kx500 cylinder so you have to figure out only the length of the needed sticking adapter and a man who could machine it for you...   :wink:

I machined one out of billet aluminum.    I have also done it by taking the cr flange and welding it to the kx flamge
