Any. Get the clamps/yokes as well. K.
And lo, I did loft the front wheel and carried it forth to the unbelievers, and cast it down before them and said unto them ''look now upon the might of my throttle control ye pitiful cretinous ones''
And the unbelievers did quake in their boots....

You NEED to check bearing sizes in the neck. I do know that all KXs do not have the same steering stem sizes.

Go to the All Balls site or Pivot Works and you can cross referance the bearings with differant models and years. I think the KX500s all share the same bearings. But check anyway.
A couple of 03 and 04 KXs, a few YZs, 3 PE 400s, a DR and a TS.

If I was going to do this conversion I would go with the latest Icould get. that means you may have to contact Emig racing to have a set built that will accommodate the fork tube size and your steering stem size.  I do know that you can install late model forks (250f, 450f) on the 89-04 kx 500 can't remember what year steering stem you need but they will fit. come to think about it I think I have a AL steering stem that emig made for me to accomplish what you doing, it could be for sale if the price is right.

I have inverted forks and a triple clamp in my shop collecting dust.  Was gonna do it to my '89 decided against it.  If you're interested, let's make a deal!!!

I just put a set of USD forks on my 1989.  I went with a 1993 set of forks.  What I needed to add was a front wheel, triple tree, front brake assy including the cable.  Should go out and test the suspension next week.
