Shock question?
«

Hi,
I'm changing the shock in my 88 KX250 and have one from a 89 but the bottom mount is different, can I change the bottom mount from the shock on the left to the one in the middle? And how do they come off?
Thanks

Found another thread on Thumper Talk and they do come off, I'll give it a try later.

I think you have to remove the spring and push rod. then re-seal! lots of work, kawasaki main dealer should do it for you though!

If it has not been rebuilt lately, then you probably wont regret it if you change oil and seal. Maybe the shafts are the same length and diameter, then you could just swap the whole shaft..
