Gasket sealer moose spacer

        I read through the moose spacer thread and didn't see where anyone used permatex or hightac to seal the gaskets and my 01 had a rad valve so it had it's own rubber gasket built right in and didn't need sealer.

        The moose spacer came with 2 gaskets one for between the engine and spacer and another for between the other side of the spacer and reed cage and I'm assuming no gasket is needed where the rubber on the boot meets the reed cage so 2 gaskets should do the trick the rubber boot should seal up nicely without a gasket unless I have it wrong but how did you guys do it? I did search the intake spacer thread with no luck on answering these questions so take it easy on me if it was there and I missed it :) I'll be waiting for the thumpin if I missed it and shall take it like a man.

I installed my Moose spacer at the same time as upgrading to V-Force III reeds, so I used the gaskets that came with the spacer and reeds.  I figured there should be a gasket there because there was one there before....

No gasket is needed on the rubber side of the Rad Valve. There wasn't one when it was mated to the cylinder.

       Thanks guys and sorry it took me so long to post back but I couldn't get on the site for some reason and polar bus pmed me on the best way to go and thanks for replying guys I appreciate it.

       I ended up just using the gaskets and cleaning the surfaces real good and it's been leak free and feels much better on the throttle response with boyeson pro reeds and the spacer between the carb and reed block instead of up against the jug and it's not just a sop feel I know the bike is performing better but I cleaned the carb and set my float bowl while I had it apart I have a video of the bike running down the street but don't know how to post it.
