is a v force reed setup worth the money ?

i have only ever run them in a 125 but almost every rider i know has used them. all i can say is they are probably 1 of the best and easiest porformance mods you can do. they dont give a massive increase in peak power but increase the power across all of the rev range so i would say the smaller engines would benfit more from them as they have more problems with flat spots in the rev range. all i can say is my 125 has had a serious amount of engine work, doma pipe and v force, its the best 125 i have ever come across with good power across the rev range (for a 125) and i am sure the v force are playing a big part

I have them in all 5 bikes that I have. I think it has fixed tuning issues with all of them. Seems to clean-up the sound of the motor, if that makes sense. I have read that some guys on here have had brand new sets that did not seal tight around the petals, but I have had no issues. Still other super fast guys , in hillclimbing, are using Rad valves and stock cages too. Its all a personal preference deal. You have to make choices that add to your riding confidence level, IMO. It would be nice to experiment with somone else's, and see what it changes on your bike before buying, but not too many of us have that luxury. Thats how alot of those choices are made though, try it and see, trial and error style.
