ZIP Ty Racing Kit
« on: May 07, 2008, 06:53:19 AM »
does anyone on here have the Zip Ty Racing tank, shrouds, pipe kit on there 500.  From the pics on there website it looks like the cleanest looking kit I have seen, but I am a little scared to drop $600.00 without seeing it installed.  Any feedback would be great!

It looks like the gas tank is lower, is it not?  I do really like the look of that kit though.

Isn't the flow pipe the same as the noleen?
A friend has the noleen on his '04 and loves it but I couldn't find anyone selling the noleen or the flow.

The idea behind the zip-ty kit is to carry the fuel lower to make the bike handle better. If a factory is willing to lower the radiators half inch to make the bike handle better lowering the fuel by six inches has to help. It also looks sweet.

Thanks for the link Platypus!  The only thing that might suck is trying to get at your spark plug.  I really like the look of that kit.  Put the 93 fender on that and it will be killer.
