Got the FMF kit friday and after about 2 hrs of trying to figure a way to make this kit fit my bike I faced the fact that they are not going to work. I gues I will keep them and hope I get a newer 500 soon.

bummer, you couldn't heat em with a blow dryer and get them to stretch?
it seems like they could be heated and razor bladed to work...hmmm....
