Newer Style Forks vers. The Older Ones
« on: March 03, 2006, 03:48:31 AM »
Hey,

Do ya'll think there would be any handling benefit for me if I change my old style forks (87 500) to the newer one off a 90 or new bike. I have seen these parts listed on e-bay and before I buy any thing just wondering if there will be any benefit. Thanks

I think you will need to go to newer than 94! I just got that project bike and I want to update it to either aftermarket or what ever the 04 model had! However I hope we get some help from the other guys that really know this suspension stuff!
