So I currently have a 99 KX250 and am contemplating doing a 500 swap. Did some searching on here and still have some questions about what is involved in the swap. Biggest questions are what parts are usable off the 250 engine. Parts in question would be can I use my 250 Boyesen RAD vavle, carb(jetted for 500 obviously), and CDI/ignition on the 500? Are the 250 radiators sufficient for the 500 or do those need to be upgraded? Bike would be primarily used for woods type riding.Those of you who have done the swap in a 99-02 frame were there any unexpected problems when you did the swap? Thanks in advance
