KX500 1989
« on: July 07, 2016, 08:13:55 PM »
Hi guys and girls.
Just after some information.
As the post suggests I have a KX500 89 model.
My front fork sliders were snapped in my last MX race.
I need to replace them can anyone suggest brand and year that would fit.

Thanks for the information.

welcome kilpatrick6367...

ninja's partially correct....the '89 U.S. models came with the conventionals(and it's been controversial if a few U.S. models came with USD as well)....where as the European models came with the USD forks.
I'm pretty sure you can still put a "later" set of sliders on...I remember putting '97 sliders on my '93 250, years ago.

here's a Euro break down...
