fork ID help
« on: February 18, 2016, 07:30:08 AM »
I picked up what I think is a set of 98-2004 kx500 forks. Can anybody help confirm this before I dump $150 on new springs and seals.

Measurements taken from upper and lower triple clamp locations on the forks:
upper OD: 1.98 or 50.291mm
lower OD: 2.19 or 55.626mm

If this is not correct can you post what it should be. Thanks

Thanks for the help. At least the rear shock will make for a usable spare. I'll throw the forks on ebay.
