 Does the 500 seat fit the 250 tank "cutout" area the same way the 250 seat does? Or should you use the 250 seat with the 250 tank?

Finally scored my 89 kx250 tank after almost a year of searchin. Found it on eBay and bought it minutes after it was listed for sale

I would call them 1st...because there's a 99.99% probability it's discontinued....I know Rocky Mountain has them listed as "not shipping", which means they're discontinued.
I can't even buy an '03 or '04 black KX500 tank because they're back ordered...and if there isn't a high enough demand for them soon, they too will slip into the discontinued category.

Haven't been on in a while but I never posted a picture because I can't figure out how to do it lol.  But the 89 tank looks great and is worth it if one pops up.
