Modified Forks
« on: July 25, 2015, 02:11:56 AM »
Been working on a 89 500. Found a sticker from the factory inside the right side number plate that says "Front Forks Modified Refer to MC 88-10" Does anybody know what the modification was? Thanks Grant

Looks like MC 88-10 was a service bulletin.  Here is a link to one for sale on eBay.  The first page in the picture gives you some info on what was modified to make the fork more compliant.

Thanks Unberto...that explains it. Getting ready to find out how compliant the forks are for the first time. Thanks
