I have not had a sugary type drink in a long time but now they say the diet stuff is bad for you. I like diet Mt. Dew so have a few of those a week for quick caffeine. That bacon taco looks awesome! As do the ribs! Had 'fixed up' beans and jalapeņo cheddar burgers for lunch. Yum!
It's tough to find a good drink that is not full of sugar, not artificially sweetened, and not water. Unsweet tea is about it. I gave up sugar about two months ago, and have lost about 25 pounds depending on the day. I am now about at my natural weight, as I'll need to shed muscle to lose much more. I didn't really modify my diet, besides trying not to eat after dinner, and no grazing in the kitchen on granola bars, cheese, walnuts, etc. I've tried the no grazing and not eating late before, but taking out sugar really made the difference. My cholesterol and blood pressure are really improving as well. It sucks at dessert time though. Oh, and I would kill for a Dr. Pepper!
