Looking for a flywheel weight
« on: April 13, 2005, 03:31:52 AM »
I've read through alot of the old posts here and want to ask if anyone has a flywheel weight they want to get rid of. I love my 500, but my carpal tunnel wrists and 40yr old (out of shape) body are telling me to slow things down a little.

I have a '99 I picked up recently for $1800 and I will be changing the rear tire for the first time since new. (granted its definately worn out nearly a slick, but not much time on the bike)

Installed the flywheel weight last night before baseball practice, could not belive the difference. made one mistake though, kicked it over with my hermans on and not the riding boots. Ankle is only slightly swelled!! I was in a hurry and did'nt follow the cold start process to a tee and it kicked back. Should be ok to ride this weekend.
