i have the supermoto mag featured 580, and am currently fully rebuilding the whole bike, EVERY NUT AND BOLT BEARING ETC. i stripped the original moto wheels as they were corroded and the hubs power coated black and flaking,
i have powder coated the rims black and had both hubs along with loads of other bits anodised purple.
problem is in my haste to get it stripped to blast and anodise i didn't take measurements of hub to wheel measurements,
the rear always had a problem with rubbing on the chain and was not offset correctly from what i can gather,
the wheel builder says my hubs are talon and rims excel,
hubs measure same width as original kx5 hubs but wheels wider,
rear wheel externally measures 5,3/4" and 4,25" on mid i.e. tyre sealing area.
front rim 4,1/4" external, 3.5" internal.
builder is asking for hub to rim offset?
reading other posts have seen people say .25" offset rear?
