velocity diaphragm for intakes
« on: December 06, 2014, 06:24:16 AM »
Has anyone ever used the velocity diaphragms that go in either the airbox boot or the other kind that go in outlet side of the carb?  To best examples are the fmf snap or the GT thunder product.    I believe the idea of the fmf is to take the turbulence out of the air and smooth it out in the carb boot before it passes over the feul nozzle.  And I think the GT thunder diaphragm goes in the outlet side of the carb and also claims to smooth the turbulence out of the air and atomize the mixture better.

Any experience?

Anyone tried either variety of these.  Googled the reviews and for the most part they were positive
