The used 1994 KX250 that I picked up as a project for some reason had the blue anodized 93' forks put on it by the previous owner. They are actually in great shape as far as how they look.....no leaks, the shafts don't have a single blemish in them, and overall they seem pretty nice. I was going to pull them off and do a fluid change on them just to be on the safe side.......but I was wondering if since I'm going to have them off, if I would be better of trying to pick up a nice used set of 94' or newer forks for it. Are there any major differences between the 93' forks and the 94'-99' forks? At what year did the forks go to the larger diameter that won't fit in the triple clamps that are on my 94'? Or should I just leave the blue 93' forks on there....and ride it?
