coolant elbow on back of jug, do they swap?
« on: September 06, 2014, 01:32:52 AM »
Hey guys. I'm running the 98-99 kx250 jug on my tecate 4. The orientation of the coolant elbow could be better, I think most of the 1990's are the same as mine, basically a 45 degree angle off the flange.

So. I was looking on ebay and it appears the 80's models are more of a 90 degree angle. That would work for me. I'm just not sure if there is a direct swap available via kx250's or another make or model.

The whole idea here is to create better clearance mainly from the exhaust and it would benefit my pulse intake.

Thanks

I may have a few in my junk piles.
Pick one and I'll send it to you to try.

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Right on. If it's cool with you I may take a peek at the kdx, k5 and kx125. I honestly couldn't see me trying more than 6.
