Hi guys, does anyone have any thoughts on removing the boost bottle on my 85 kx500? My son has a 86 yz490 and a friend told him that removing the bottle will help throttle response, any thoughts?

jetting on the pilot will probably be differant without boost bottle

personally i cant see how removing a factory fitted boost bottle will improve throttle response

it should only take little effort to temperory  block the outlet on intake to see if it runs better, let us know how u get on

yeah, wash it out and turn it into a flask...
I was never keen on those things, and always considered them as useless!.
to be honest, I wasn't even aware the 85 used one...
Excuse me, ma'am...but you've got extremely nice legs!!!...what time do they open???                                                                                                               https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8tCgN3aryQ
