Is there any up-grades for the front fender of the 04' KX5?
And if so, is there much fitting, or trimming???

I've seen some run the newer KX250 front fenders which actually look nice.  Also seen a guy use the KX250 front number plate.  You just have to make a small L bracket for the top bolt on the number plate.

Depending on the numberplate you use, you may have to trim the plate itself.  The fender will bolt up fine.  It looks sweet.

I bolted the newer front fender to the 2002 125, and used a stock number plate.  All that was required was a little heat from a hair dryer to reshape the number plate.  However, I like the idea of using the new style number plate and an L bracket.  When I switch to the new fender on the 500, this will not be a problem, as I run a front headlight. so no clearing problem.
