ok so ive been reading all i can find on the KIPS.. so im putting it all back togeather, do i need to line dots up like my manual says, or do i need to line it up back like it was when i took it apart??  thanks for the help guys...

The dots will be lined up before you put the KIPS stop bolt in from the LH side.  they will then rotate when you put the bolt in.  center valve leave two bolts loose, kips drums leave up enough to get the governer rod through, line up rod lines and drum dots, install kips stop bolt and then spacers at the end of drums, tighten center valve bolts and install rod seal screw. check for smooth actuation.

when i took the valves out i didnt notice the lines on the shaft, but i did notice the left hand dot was at 3:00 and the right hand hand dot with the idler gear was at 9:00.. 

sorry guys im a first timer but i learn fast and dont mind reading all i can find on it.. so thanks for all your help..
