Pretty cool.......How embarrasing would it be if while on their high speed record attempt run, we get motorrad to pace and pass them while giving the thumbs up!!

I once heard my buddy Bill ask Danny Hamel after a race....
"How can someone who looks like a high school band tuba player go so d**n fast on a bike?!"

124.274 mph out of a 700cc?
Lame.
Motorrad needs to pass them giving a thumps up, with bugs in his teeth, and curling a 50lb barbel with his mustache.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Team Green during the early 90's with 16/42 gears and running low compression motors were hitting 120-125 mph on pavement and 115-120 on the dry lake beds........

Read all about it here  (their thred).

Warning.  thread is full of Dumb ass posts that have no freeking clue what they are talking about (not the record guys).. morons thinking they need snow spikes in the tires etc...

aparently they havnt doen enough research to realize the KX500 has set 2 records.  in 2 differant catigorys.  sad.    The only picture they have seen is of the Full faird  (not dirt bike) record is the only conclusion I can come to

"Personally I reckon your 950SE is more "dirt bike" than the KX500 which is the current record holder, which couldn't go down a dirt road."

They think the only record the KX has is the "full fairing record"  it seems..
