second hand ones tend to be ticking time bombs alot in the uk loads on ebay !!! , they dont seem to be looked after as they should , the photo is one of my friends whos already blown one up ( my frame for the jan de groot motor) after a good swimming session could well go pop if it hasnt had a major strip down hence tickin time bomb...............bang con rod through the front ( seems to be the favorite way to go)

You'll find a lot in the USA that are smoked as well.
I'm not really sure that it's all the riders fault.
The manufactures are trying to get more and more power out of the same CC with less weight and materials.
I think we are seeing the results of that philosophy.
Sure, they run great but for how long...
BY the way, I hope that guy was wearing his wool nickers when he went into the drink.
That looks really COLD  :-D

so this is the old argument 2t Vs 4t , 1 of the main points the 4t guys always give is that 4ts are more reliable with less maintainace. now the 4ts are getting faster and faster i dont think that is true any more. for example a quality filter and oil for the a 250f is about ?20, where as a whole top end refresh on a 125 can be done for about ?70. i think the most cost effective MX is with the 2t. just my veiw anyway

wish i could get filter and oil for ?20!! only use genuine filters @ bout ?6
last time i got rock xrp it was more than gold and titanium put together!!! yeah think there pushing the tech boundries on 4ts spesh 250fs very carefull maintenance is the only was ..poss dare i say it only worth owning from new to assure lenth of bike life!! smokers much more user friendly just dont produce the same smooth hit out of the corners!!
ps i dont wish to start a 4t 2t war just my opinion guys :)
