After trying to get my KX 500 suspension to handle good for the last five months, I have given up and someone is coming by to look at taking off of my hands. I have tried taking the acme valving and replacing it with race-tech, I have tried different springs, preloads, clicker adjustments all to no avail. It still will not suck up terrain like my 520, and not for a lack of effort. I have found an 01 380 KTM that will take its place (kx's). So I have a long list of parts for sale including dry brake tank, a couple sets of fmf pipes and silencers, extra engine cases (center only), gearing, bolts and bearings, brake calipers front and rear including mounting hardware no lines though, and about a set and a half of plastic. After I let the big five hundo go :( I will be posting the full list of parts. I would like to let them go as a package for about $850. I think this sounds fair.

Well the 500s are officially out of the garage, time to let someone take the rest of my 500 (parts). :(

ajt,have you ever heard of rickmain classic's in yerington,nv.its suppose to be close to reno.he says he has been porting cylinders for 20 yrs.just bought a kx500 frame w/750 triple motor off ebay from him but i'm having trouble contacting him thru emails,or phone.hope someone may know him.

I have not heard of him. It's about 80 miles from here, but I know several people that leave there. If it is really important call me at 775-848-2625 and Ill see if I can find someone who knows him.

thanks.i'm going to give a day or so since leaving a message on another number i found.someone just left some negative feedback on ebay about him so i hope i'm not getting the shaft.no money sent yet but i did want the bike.
