hey guys has anyone used a stock 250 reed assemble on a 500 engine I'm woundering how it works ( i think i need to use a 250 carb holder for a better angle )

Im using the 250 manifold on my 04 KX250/500 conversion. The 500 manifold would put the carb into the shock. Also using a VForce 2 from a KX250. Bikes not done yet so I dont know how it works. Its taking me forever!

I'm going to try a stock 250 intake assembly i might see if i can open it up a little.
the other thing i ran into the throttle cable from the 500 hits the tank any ideas

The hole on the back side of the 250 boot is alot smaller than the one on the 500 reducing flow thats why we also run the 500 boot on our 250's . Top end it makes a big difference and we have numbers to prove that , so I don't think the reduced flow would be good if you were hoping for top end , but mid & low should be fine.CBX

I would like to use the stock 500 intake but i think that the angle is wrong for this conversion so dose anyone have a good idea

I'm using a V force 3 for a KX 500 and used a jetski stuffer and rounded off the edge of the carb holder (this holder is test one)
