Anybody using a compression release on their kx500?

I have it but in the testing phase, I've found no use for it yet, cold is won't start with it decrompressed, warm it starts so easy I don't need it. :|
I've heard going fast into corners using it like a jake brake might be an advantage.
I'll let you know one day.
