Title: Hey Everyone
Post by: dieselpowered on April 15, 2008, 11:18:06 AM
Was over at another atv site and one of your members with a Teryx replied to one of my threads, therefore, thought I would stop over and say hello.

I own a Kawasaki Teryx which is in the process of being built up for our site.

When I get back, I will post some pics for you all to see.

Nice, is that a light bar on top?  We just had sand drags here in southeastern AZ and an Arctic Cat won the UTV class.     Someone needs to build a KX or ZX UTV!

Yes that is an LED Lightbar...puts out some crazy light, likely equivalent to 4-7" HIDS on top.

Alan is our resident Teryx guy.  Hey Al where are you on this post.  Where are your pic's?  Inquiring minds want to know.
Post Script:  Welcome to the site Diesel.

Sorry David, I have had it twice for a total of 7.5 hrs. It has a ways to go on the break in period of 20 hours.
It is no where near as thrilling a whacking the throttle wide open on a KX5, but I did manage to get a little bit of air last time out. My wife really likes reaching back and getting a beer out of the cooler!

Anyway the real feat was figuring out how to set a 1300 lb vehicle on your tailgate. I you look close at the picture you will see a 5/8 steel rod reinforcing the tailgate cables.........

Alan :-D :-D
