I often wondered if Ricky was on the KX450F and Bubba was on the RM if the outcome would be the same! I think the Kawie is faster! and a much better handling bike! :-D :-D

I wondered that also.  For Ricky it doesn't matter what bike.  If the bike is lacking he makes up for it with skill.

I dont think their is anyone with the pure speed of James, however he pays for it by making more mistakes.  I think either James or Ricky could beat me on a moped with street tires and me on my 500.  Those two are just out there.  I don't know if anyone reads dirt rider but some months back they had a pro (not near the calliber of ricky or james) race an experienced dirt rider staffer.  They both started on 450s, the staffers was a race prepped bike and the pro moved down to smaller bikes as he kept winning.  I believe that staffer finally beat the pro when he went to the small 110 trail bike.  The pro even beat him on an 80cc bike.

James is in another class by himself.  Without the GOAT, he is racing against himself.

I thought I heard the announcers mention that James has the front suspension set very stiff.  It allows him to skim over the woops, but he pays for it with the front end washing out.  He has gone down a few times when the front just washed out on him, but he just fly's over the whoop sections...
