Title: 1985 kx80 tear shock. What else will fit??

hello all. First timer here. Rebuilding my first motorcycle 1985 Kawasaki KX 80 and I’ve run into a problem with the rear shock. Can anybody out there let me know what other years will fit the 85 KX 80?  The original is apparently not rebuildable so I’m at a stop. I have heard anywhere from 84 to 87 kx or kdx will fit even up to some late 90’s will fit but can’t verify. Asked all the dealers with no luck.  Any help would be greatly appreciated my apologies ahead for lack of knowledge.  This is the last piece I need to complete my build. Thanks

take the shock to some bike wreckers and start comparing has to be one around , or see the after market shock builders .
