Title: Kawasaki KX125 Engine code?

Hey , I bought at that Kawasaki KX 125 , but now should get a piston to this bike. But should first get to know the machine model year is here ? Engine code is KX125FE009968.

It is somewhere between a 88-90.
To narrow it down, look at your cylinder number, I believe it is under one of your side exhaust valve covers..
Then look at the cylinder numbers on this chart:

You can also compare your carb number with that chart as well

Under the KIPS cover are number 1565. Thanks! :)

1565 = 89 KX125  11005-1565
Check the chart I sent you the link to and look under "cylinder"
